My '''service vehicle soon" light came on so I took it to TAE after googling the nearest mechanic shop with a five star review during my lunch hour. Usually I'm a little skeptical about google reviews, but after taking my car to these guys, they've made me a believer! They were jam packed with cars when I pulled up and it was pouring rain, yet they took the time to fix what was wrong, a simple fix - the headlight was unhooked AND they didn't even charge me for diagnosing the problem and fixing it! These guys were courteous, kind and didn't treat me like I was an idiot, they explained everything and made me feel great! A kindness like that will never be forgotten in my book, so I dropped off donuts and croissants for them this morning as a token of my appreciation. 😉

I haven't had any major work done here, but willing to give them a shot when I might need it since they're open on Saturdays. Convenient location, comfortable waiting area. Visit 1: oil change + estimate for a very costly repair. Their estimate was lower than another nearby mechanic, but seemed less thorough, so can't evaluate this one. Didn't get the repair done. Visit 2: front license plate installation. No mount came with the car, so they drilled some holes for me, no charge. Seems straight and secure - thanks!

I can’t recommend these guys enough for honest and quick work. My family and I were traveling through Sacramento and ran into engine/transmission trouble late on a Friday night and these guys were the only ones on Saturday morning that, despite a backlog of work, were able to get us in and quickly nailed down the problem. Ricky walked us through all our options and went far and above to help us out when we were in a tough spot. Joe, this guy seriously deserves a raise. Thanks!!

My go-to oil change place! If I have any car troubles, I'll definitely go to them too. They care about customer service and they're fast and efficient-- what's not to love?

Initially I felt these folks were really nice to work with. However, they charged me a lot of money to scan my check engine light and replace a gas cap that didn't fix the problem--over $140--my gas light came on within about four days. They also sort of misled me about having a shuttle service, they did drop me off at work but asked me to take a Lyft back to the shop (another $10 bucks), and said they would stick my keys above the tire so I could get my car when I called to tell them the Lyft driver was running late and I didn't think I could make it by the time they closed. The Lyft was 5 or so minutes out. Thankfully someone was still at the shop when I arrived, because they had locked my keys in my car. They are nice enough seeming, not a terrible experience, but I won't likely be going back.

I'm truly sorry your experience was less than excellent. This shop is across from my work so I took my car here. They did a great job and now I keep coming back for all my maintenance my car. Ricky Bobby always gets my car in for quick service, or asks when I need to pick it up by. They always deliver.
